
Dr. Amena Shahid is an educator with extensive experience teaching business, leadership, and management courses at universities across Canada and internationally. She is passionate about building inclusive and engaging classroom environments that support student learning, academic achievement, and professional growth. Her teaching highlights real-world applications, leadership development, and active student participation, helping learners build the skills required for success in a dynamic global environment.
Dr. Shahid’s research focuses on leadership, employee engagement, trust, and organizational culture. Her scholarly work is published in peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Management Research and the Open Journal of Business and Management, where she studies how leadership approaches and organizational strategies impact employee motivation and workplace success. She continuously blends research insights into her teaching to equip students with evidence-based views on leadership and management challenges.
In addition to her teaching and research, Dr. Shahid has held academic leadership roles, including Associate Director of the Teaching and Learning Centre and Director of Continuing Education at Prince Sultan University.
